Mathematical Modeling of Environmental Noise Impact

چکیده
Noise can have negative impact on health. Hearing damage, annoyance, sleep disturbance, high blood pressure, poor cardiovascular health is all linked to community noise. Children, people with existing physical and mental illness and elderly people are most susceptible to community noise. High level of noise from sources such as busy traffic can adversely affect the health of the people living near road highways. It is therefore desirable to model a road traffic noise that predicts well the traffic noise near highways so that the people living near highways who are highly exposed by everyday traffic noise can be protected from noise exposure to some extent . Measurement of noise level ( ) (A dB ) by noise analyzer will be conducted on road segment of Dehradun Haridwar highway for Dehradun city at different locations. The noise level predicted from the developed model is compared with the measured one .t-test is then applied and observed highly significant at 5% level and 95% confidence level. The proposed road traffic noise model can be effectively used as a decision supporting tool for prediction of road traffic noise in Indian conditions. Examining the behavior of various factors affecting road traffic noise, people living near highways can be better prevented from high degree of environmental noise impact.

Modeling of Substrate Noise Impact on a Single-Ended Cascode LNA in a Lightly Doped Substrate (RESEARCH NOTE)
Substrate noise generated by digital circuits on mixed-signal ICs can disturb the sensitiveanalog/RF circuits, such as Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), sharing the same substrate. This paperinvestigates the adverse impact of the substrate noise on a high frequency cascode LNA laid out on alightly doped substrate. By studying the major noise coupling mechanisms, a new and efficientmodeling method is p...
متن کاملImproving Data-based Wind Turbine Using Measured Data Foggy Method
The purpose of this paper is to improve the modeling of the data-driven wind turbine system that receives data from noise signals. Most of the data on industrial systems is noisely and data noise is inevitable and natural. The method and idea proposed in this paper, Data Fogging, significantly reduce the impact of noise on data-driven wind turbine system modeling, which is the basis of this met...
متن کاملImpacts of food processing industry on some environmental health and safety factors
In developing countries, it is common to site (or locate) industries without environmental impact assessment. In this study the impacts of two food processing industries on land use and land capability, noise and vibration, environmentally sensitive areas and visual quality as environmental elements were investigated. The research method adopted was the investigative survey research approach (I...

The most common sources of environmental noise are human transportation systems which can have catastrophic effects on physiology and behavior of wildlife species. Spatial models of noise propagation from roads in ecological sensitive region could be very useful tools for prediction of roads impacts. The goal of our study was to apply a straightforward, accurate, and affordable approach for mod...
متن کاملTHEORY AND METHODS A health impact assessment model for environmental changes attributable to development projects
Study objective: European Union legislation requires large industrial and civil development projects to undergo environmental impact assessment. The study objective was to identify environmental health risk estimates for these developments from the epidemiological literature and to develop, and apply these within, a mathematical health impact assessment model. Design and results: In the UK, goo...
